G7 Youth Summit Consultations

G7 Youth Summit Consultations

Following the recently released survey, the 2020 UK Y7 Delegation (Viriginia, James, Mohamed and Zoe) are reaching out to you for participation in some more detailed consultation events to inform the UK’s youth position at this year’s summit. They are keen to hear your views and drill down into the issues the UK youth truly care about.

The format of these sessions are designed to be as interactive as possible, and you will have the opportunity to meet other members and share your thoughts. Please note, no prior experience or specific education is required to participate in any of the track themes.. We are looking to hear a diverse range of issues that you feel are affecting and important to you.

The 5 G7 themes are:

1.     Global Connectivity and Trade

2.     Energy (Environment & Sustainability)

3.     Peace and Security

4.     Education and Jobs (Future Generations)

5. COVID-19.

The sessions will run from 5-6pm throughout the week of 27th April 2020. Please note that participants will be limited to 12 per session, and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. However, if there is enough interest, we will look to run additional sessions in the future.
