Become an FLN Network Lead!

Opportunity

Are you a young leader aged 18-30 who likes sparking meaningful connections, bringing people together to share experiences and solve problems in their local community, and loves hosting events?

We are looking for two volunteers to join the FLN team to lead our local FLN Networks in London and the South West of England. As our Network Leads, you’ll be responsible for creating a diverse, stimulating and enriching network of changemakers in London or the South West of England.

Our Networks in Wales and Scotland are already thriving, bringing young people together for networking events, breakfast debates, keynote speakers, learning visits and conferences with government, industry and the public sector. You’ll have the opportunity to do all this and more, and to increase your own leadership experience and your network along the way.

If you believe young people have the power to change the world, and you want to bring them together to do so, this is the role for you. You can find out more about the role in the role description here.

How to apply

Apply below, via the application form and by emailing your CV to anna.harris@futureleaders.network .

Applications will close at 23:59 on 21st May 2022 and successful candidates will be invited to interview. We are aiming to hold interviews up until the 29th May 2022.

You will also need to be aged 18-30 through the duration of 2022, and be able to commit between 5-7 hours per week to the role.

In your application, you should refer to the Essential Criteria set out in the Network Lead Role Description. For each question, we have indicated the Essential Criteria we are looking for evidence of.

You are encouraged to adopt the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) format to give evidence of specific examples when you have demonstrated the Essential Criteria. Remember to be specific about what actions you took, and the impact you had.

Please let us know if you require any reasonable adjustments and a member of the team would be delighted to speak with you to discuss more details. If any candidate has any questions about the process please contact anna.harris@futureleaders.network.
