Take your seat #atthetable

The G7 (Group of 7) is a gathering of world leaders from seven of the most advanced nations (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, with the European Union holding a permanent seat). It meets annually to discuss solutions to the most pressing shared issues.

This year the G7 is being hosted by the UK.  Each year, ahead of the Leaders' Summit, young leaders from each of the G7 states assemble to develop, negotiate, and propose policy recommendations on behalf of young people to present to Heads of State. This process is known as the Y7 and is being hosted by the Future Leaders Network in 2021.

Our focus groups will support the UK young leaders at the Y7 (and at the Y20 held later in the year) to identify the key issues UK youth are concerned about and what action they want to see leaders take. It’s your opportunity to get your views taken to the highest levels of global leadership.

The focus groups will last one hour and will be facilitated by our young leaders. Anyone aged 18-30 is eligible to participate and we would love to to hear from people from all walks of life.

Your details will be shared with the Future Leaders Network and the U.K. Y7 and Y20 delegates. Please note the Focus Groups will be recorded via Zoom for the purposes of data collection. They will be stored securely by the Future Leaders Network and will be only shared with the Y7 and Y20 young leaders for only as long as it is needed and a maximum of six months.
