The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat is the UN entity tasked with supporting the global response to climate change. It has near universal membership (197 parties).

Each year, it hosts two to four negotiation sessions. The largest and most important is the Conference of Parties (COP).

The Future Leaders Network has been formally admitted as an NGO (non-governmental) observer to UNFCCC meetings.

We recruited our inaugural FLN Delegation (to attend COP28) and are currently recruiting delegations for the upcoming COP29. We intend to continue recruiting delegations for future COPs (and other applicable UNFCCC events) over the coming years.
